We decorated our tree before Thanksgiving (yes, I know, anarchy and chaos!) but one of our favorite traditions is buying a new ornament each year for each family member. Tonight our Christmas Stocking activity (we do one each day in December) was to give the kids their ornaments and hang them on the tree. Here are this year's picks:
For Dave: Santa and the Showgirl!
Though we've lived in Vegas before, we didn't have an ornament to commemorate it.
And here's mine:

Bahaha, those are awesome! Santa and the showgirl, heehee. And I love the DIY cast.
Jen, you still amaze me!! What a fun tradition. The showgirl cracks me up. And the little cast is just too perfect!!
Merry Christmas!! I love the transformer ornament! lol! Been there, done that:) Max is FINALLY starting to grow out of them!!
BTW: Your kids are A-DORABLE! Miss ya!
Roll Out...!
Ah, that little cast is so awesome!
Okay, how did you make the little cast? It really is adorable!
Oh, the cast was easy. I just cut a thin trip of gauze from our first aid kit and hot glued it on, then painted a stripe with a red permanent marker. I think I need to cover it with a coat of modge-podge to make it more solid. I was just glad to find an ornament that was easy to add a cast to!
Your tree is so cute! We hope you guys are doing well. Your kidlings are growing up so quick and are so cute!
